Jan 27/09.  The cholera epidemic has swept through a country wracked with political and economic crises. WHO figures show 56,123 reported cholera case, and the number of cholera deaths in Zimbabwe is now approaching 3,000.

Zimbabwe's waste-disposing system has collapsed, and the Health Minster warns the epidemic could get worse in rainy season.
