THIS
IS NOT a world of man’s making.
It is the Kingdom
of God that’s coming; it’s the kingdom for which the Messiah
taught His people to pray.
“Your
kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.” (Matthew
6:10)
This is a kingdom
that even good men cannot establish. It will be established after the
Tribulation when the King of Righteousness, the Messiah, returns in power
and glory. His Kingdom is the answer to all our inequity, exploitation,
poverty and injustice.
WILL THIS REALLY
HAPPEN?
Most definitely,
for not one single word of God will fail. All Bible prophecies have been,
or will be, fulfilled with absolute accuracy. And there are a lot of Bible
prophecies concerning the Messiah and the coming Millennial Kingdom -
the glorious 1,000-year reign of righteousness. A few of those prophecies
are quoted below.
The Almighty says:
“For
you who revere My Name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing
in His wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the
stall.” (Malachi 4:2)
In this prophecy
the Messiah is called “the Sun of Righteousness.”
He is also called
the “Sh’khinah Glory.”
“Arise,
shine, for your light has come! and the Sh’khinah glory (the manifest
Presence) of Yahweh has risen upon you. Look! Darkness will cover the
earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but Yahweh will arise upon you,
and His glory will be seen over you. The Gentile nations will come to
your Light, and kings to the brightness of your Rising.” (Isaiah
60:1-3)
“The
Spirit of Yahweh will rest upon Him (the Messiah-King). The Spirit of
Wisdom and of Understanding; the Spirit of Counsel and of Power; the Spirit
of Knowledge and of the Fear of Yahweh - and He will delight in the fear
of Yahweh. He will not judge by what He sees with His eyes, nor make a
decision by what He hears with His ears; but with righteousness He will
judge the poor, and with justice, give decisions for the meek - the lowly,
timid and afflicted - of the earth.” (Isaiah 11:2-4)
“In the last
days the mountain of the House of Yahweh will be established as chief
among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations
will stream into it.
“Many peoples
will come and say, ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh,
to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways, so that we
may walk in His paths.’ For the Law (instruction) will go out from
Zion, and the Word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.
“He
will judge between the nations, and will settle disputes for many peoples.
They will beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning
hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they learn
warfare any more.” (Isaiah 2:2-4)
“The
kingdoms of the world have become the kingdom of YHWH our LORD and of
His Anointed - the Messiah; and He will reign forever and ever.”
(Revelation 11:15)
“I,
yes, I have installed My King on Zion, My holy hill.” (Psalm 2:6).
“The
earth will be full of the knowledge of Yahweh as the waters cover the
sea.” (Isaiah 11:9). |
