But what does the word mean? It means, “The Master is coming!”

The word is used once only in the Bible - in 1 Corinthians 16:22, where it refers to the return of the Heavenly Master, Y'shua the Messiah (Jesus Christ), at the end of this age.

You may question, “Is Jesus Christ coming back again?”

Yes, most definitely! This is what the Bible has clearly prophesied, and this is what the followers of the Master are keenly waiting for.

Many, in fact, are expecting the Master's return in the very near future - within our lifetime. It could occur any day now, for dozens of signs given in Scripture are pointing to our present times, and they emphasize that we are indeed living in the last days of this age.

Most followers of Y'shua (that's the original Hebrew Name of Jesus) are keenly waiting and longing for the return of the Messiah.

(Messiah means, “The Anointed One” - the One who was sent to earth to be the Saviour of the world). The promise of Y'shua to His people, is soon to be fulfilled:

“In My Father's House are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you, for I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and receive you to Myself, so that you also, may be where I am.” (John 14:2-3)

Yes, Jesus Christ is coming back again; first, to receive His people - to catch them up to meet Him in the clouds, as the apostle Paul has clearly written ...

“For the Master Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. Then the dead in Christ - those who died in union with the Messiah - shall rise first. Then we, the living believers who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Master in the air. And so we will be with the Master for ever.”
(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

Secondly, He, the Heavenly Master, the Creator of our whole universe, will return to establish the glorious Kingdom of God on earth. He will not allow this present age to go on in its suffering, rebellion, and mad rush towards self-destruction. He will bring an end to all injustice, corruption, famines and wars. Y'shua, the Anointed One, will purge the world of evil, and bring restoration, peace and righteousness to the nations. He is “the Hope of all nations," and "the Hope of all Ages.”

“Look! He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him ... they will see the Son of Man (the Messiah) coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.”

Then He will be given “authority, glory and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and men of every language should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.”

(Revelation 1:7. Matthew 24:30. Daniel 7:14)

Friend, are you ready for the coming of the Master? If you are not ready to meet Him, call on Him today!
“For this reason you also be ready; for, the Son of Man (Y’shua), is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.” (Matthew 24:44)

 

BE PATIENT UNTIL THE COMING OF THE MASTER!

 

“Be patient, therefore, brethren, until the coming of Y’shua the Master. See how the farmer waits expectantly for the precious 'fruit of the earth,' waiting patiently until the land receives the early and late rains. You too be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Master is near. Do not complain against one another brethren, so that you yourselves may not be condemned. Look! The Judge is standing right at the door!” (James 5:7-9)

 

THERE WILL BE SCOFFERS IN THE LAST DAYS

 

“First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking and following after their own evil desires; and saying, ‘Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers died, everything goes on just as it has since the beginning of creation.’

“But they deliberately forget that long ago, by the Word of God, the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was destroyed being flooded with water. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

“But do not forget this one fact, beloved, that with the LORD one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. YHWH the LORD is not slow concerning His promise, as some understand slowness, but is patient toward you, not wanting anyone to perish, but for everyone to come to repentance. But the Day of YHWH will come (unexpected) like a thief in the night, in which the heavens will disappear with a roar; and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.

“Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to and earnestly desire the Day of God (the Day of YHWH). That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the intense heat.

“But, in keeping with His promise, we are looking forward to new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you are looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him, without spot, blameless, and at peace.” (2 Peter 3:3-14)

 

THE MASTER WILL COME!

 

“So do not throw away your confidence which has a great reward; for you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise. For in just a very little while, the One who is coming will come, and He will not delay.” (Hebrews 10:35-37)

 

THE LAST RECORDED WORDS OF Y’SHUA THE MESSIAH

 

“Look! I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who lays to heart and keeps the words of the prophecy of this scroll ... Look! I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to what he has done.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. I, Y'shua, have sent My messenger to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Descendant of David, the Bright and Morning Star ... Yes! I am coming quickly!”  (Revelation 22:7. 12-13, 16, 20)
